Preceptor Hall of Fame (lifetime achievement award)

The Massachusetts Academy of Family Physicians is made up of physicians who go above and beyond their call of duty. Each individual provides a very important component to their community and to the people they serve.

Purpose:
 To recognize a physician who has exemplified the tradition of "Physician as Teacher", generously, and at a high level, for several decades.

Preceptor Hall of Fame Criteria:

• Lifetime achievement award for excellence over the course of a career.
• Recognized by peers, residents and students for excellence in mentorship, teaching, clinical dedication.
• Role model as a healer and human being to their community, and as a professional in science and art of medicine to colleagues, other health professionals, and to young physicians in training and medical students. 
• Active member in good standing with the MassAFP.
