The goal of this program is to review best practices for screening, diagnosis, and treatment strategies considering recent stimulant shortages for adults with ADHD in primary care.

After completing this program, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify at least 1 screening instrument for diagnosing ADHD in adult population.
  2. Describe first line agents and common alternatives for pharmacologic treatments.
  3. Discuss behavior change strategies for improving focus and attention in adults (Non-pharmacological interventions).
